Hi girls! Long time no see!
Today I received a call from my hairdresser asking me to be his model for a hair show in July!!!!!
I'm so excited and flattered and happy and nervous and overwhelmed!!! This is so fantastic!!
Anyhoo...I knew the Adoreables would be able to appreciate my good news! I'm so stoked! I may need to touch up on my hair care routine before July so that my hair is in tip-top shape.

Cool, any ideas what the hairdresser is panning to do??
My old stylist use to ask me but I was always to chicken cos she sounded VERY out there with what she wanted to do.

Wow Toastie, How exciting. You are going to get a fab new style and I couldnt help but notice you mentioned your hairdresser is a "he" the "he's" always are the very best hairdressers in my opinion. Now the only question remains is he hot and straight or gay?

That's so awesome Toastie!! A few of my friends were hair models for a show years ago and they got the absolute best hair out of it. My normally very staid and conservative (read: never dyed her hair and never had a "style" cut) friend had her hair cut into a bob with a blunt fringe, and they turned her light blonde hair basically platinum, and put in some baby pink highlights. It looked UNREAL.

He's straight! With a lovely wife and 3 adorable children :(
Thanks for the support and excitement, guys! I'm really stoked about this, I think it'll be a lot of fun. I'm hoping that my hair will be really 'out there'. My hairdresser is very smooth and down with what is hot etc (I'm so not, lol) so whatever it is I'm positive it'll look good. I will definitely post pics!

Okay so I went to see my hairdresser yesterday. He did a bit on my hair - dyed the botto half black again but also did more of it black this time. He re-did my roots red.
He's planning to put more colours in next week. He told me a bit about the cut - he mentioned an undercut on one side and something about half my hair being gone. So excited!
For what I wear he's thinking like a 60's babydoll petticoat style dress with opaque tights and red shoes. Woo!
I also scored a free Evo shampoo and Joico conditioner. And told to wash my hair only once a week between now and the show - lol.
Undercut? I'm having flashbacks to 1995!!! LOL

well undercut to me is even further back than 1995 :shockedhair: more like 1989
Toastie your adventure sounds like so much fun , i have always wanted to do something like that , can't wait to see pics

Go you 3 better - 1986 - Grade 10. Not me though, my mother would have had a fit :chuckle:
