Yeah I have a friend who has curly hair and instead of scrunching it up and really making it work, she just pulls it flat into a ponytail. I guess it gets a bit annoying after a while!

And getting curly hair to look shiny and healthy and not dry is a chore in itself.

Yeah, my hair is very thick and curly/wavy too. The hair straightening iron has become my best friend over the past few years. I've been using a ceramic one which has a tourmaline coating & this really helps smooth out my hair and actually helps to seal the moisture in, so my hair is actually healthier when I use it than when I don't. Plus it is so much more manageable when it is straight and smooth. I used to do the scrunching thing quite a bit, but don't anymore. Just doesn't sit right anymore!

I bought Loreal Feria in Pure Burgundy Auburn and Pure Amber Auburn....because I couldn't pick just one ...
I'm off to do the Burgundy Auburn one now I think!

This morning I dyed my hair (definately needed it!) Light Brown from the L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss Range. I am continually impressed from this range! (I have also tried the Chocolate Brown). Gives very good coverage, lasts as long as it says it does and the colours come out well. I found the Chocolate Brown to be too red for my hair, but the Light Brown is fantastic! Very close to my natural hair colour. This range is my Holy Grail of at home colouring!

Is there only one Castings in the Loreal range guys or is it called Castings Cream Gloss?

Had an awful experience with my usual Feria and am looking for a change.

Yep! After using this colour for two years, I used it the day before my party and was scared all my hair would fall out.

Something looked wrong from the start, when I mixed the colour and deveoper it appeared a lot runnier than usual. Applied it to my hair anyway and within minutes started to experience the most awful burning on my scalp and the colour felt really hot.

What made it worse was I was focused on colour dripping absolutely everywhere, ruining a nice bra I had on and colouring the skin on my face and back because I could not keep up with mopping up the drips. Had had enough after 10 minutes and rinsed it out, extremely thankful I still had my hair!
