Good thread.

Current brand of choice is Dr Hauschka - I love it, my skin loves it!! I’ve used it on and off in the last 12 to 18 months. I wish I learnt of the range sooner…Natural, simple but it is very expensive. If I could I would never use anything else. As a returning student at uni I can’t afford this brand so when I’m finished my products I will review unless I have generous family members who wish to suppliment my tiny income or as a chrissy present - I might just be able to consider using Dr Hauschka (Cleansing Milk or Cream, Facial Toner and Day Cream) Otherwise I may consider another brand such as REN as a treat for christmas maybe…

I’ve tried sooooo many other products but nothing compare to Dr Hauschka… I know I’m not the only fan on this forum either.

As a another member has noted in another product thread review I think about what I using so much more these days, what the product will do for me, what type of products I want to use such as natural/organic (what nature has to offer is beautiful), simple no fuss (My mum calls me a bit of a plain jane but I do like to use things that aren’t complicated and have a debatable ingredients list that is a mile long on the product) I like using high quality natural products that are going to do according to what the product is designed for i.e cleansing milk to cleanse, day cream to nourish- like some girls on the forum they love their actives well I’m not interested, I think if it works for you then that is fabulous, all power to you but… it isn’t a product that I want to use on my skin, I think about what I put on my body as well as internally … chemicals, I don’t like the idea of over loading my skin with a multitude of products, hence I don’t use a night treatment but if I were it would only ever be something like Rosehip Oil, I never liked the feeling of having to use products at night other than cleansing + toning. I think very holistically (inside and out) about skincare/beauty , I’ve read a lot and I’m getting myself educated on natural health and beauty. Its very much a personal interest thing, looking after your skin is so important.

SORRY wow long post!!!

Have you tried Cliniques Super defense moisturiser Rasp? It is very nice with a great texture and it has sunscreen in it. It is $90 a pot though.

#15

Indeed I have not! Thanks for the rec PCC. $90 is a bit exxy but if it lasts a few months (and works!) could be do-able. Might see if I can get a sample from Myer or DJs counter.

#16

Hmm I’m really only using Alpha-H at the moment.

I did however get a mini facial the other day with Pevonia products and I really like the feel of them on my skin and that they are quite natural etc… they have those travel kits so am thinking of giving one of those a whirl to test them out…

I like their products too especially their mud mask. Had a facial with their products at Hepburn Day Spa and at the Hilton Spa, very nice indeed! Heard good things about their eye cream. Please post if anyone has used their products!
