I’ve always been a bit sceptical of volumising products, mainly because I have fine, flat hair, and nothing I’d tried had ever really made a significant difference. That was until just recently when I tried Christophe Robin’s Instant Volumising Mist with Rose.
Why Did It Change My Mind?- It gave my roots and ends noticeable volume & fullness (which never happens)
It’s a leave-in mist, designed to be sprayed into damp hair after washing
Works best when hair is blow-dried afterwards
It has a beautiful, subtle fragrance composed of 96% Rose Water
The volume actually lasts all day, giving my hair a thicker, bouncier appearance
It’s weightless, non-sticky and non-greasy
Ideal for fine, coloured & sensitive hair types, for daily use & between washes
How To Use:Spray on hair from roots to ends, before or during styling damp or dry hair, or at the end for an extra finish and hold.
I recommend spraying on roots, lifting hair section by section, then massaging your scalp to make sure it is absorbed.
For maximum volume, after applying the product, I recommend blow-drying the hair upside-down focusing on the roots.
The Results:Well, I couldn't tell you how amazing it is without giving you some proof, so Billie and Kat both tried out Christophe Robin's Instant Volumising Mist with Rose, and here are their results.
Billie's Results:Hair Type: Thick, course and unruly hair (aka volume in the wrong areas!)
The spray adds volume to the roots without adding extra on mid length and ends, helps hold her blow dry longer and enhances her latte toned colour. Kat washed her hair first with Christophe Robin’s Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner to help with detangling.
You can reactivate volume throughout the day by spraying the mist over dry hair.Billie's before & after
Kat's Results:Hair Type: Naturally fine, soft hair that tends to get greasy & doesn’t hold styles well
Kat washed her hair first with the Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumising Paste, which acts like a blotting paper on the scalp and creates maximum volume at the roots. Kate then sprayed the mist liberally through her wet hair, through roots, mid lengths and ends before blow drying.
Finishing with a small spray of the rose mist into the palms and gently pressing through the ends to seal and smooth (as a replacement to heavy oils and sticky hair spray)Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner. It's got my tick of approval!
